Maybe so, but that's a pretty fair piece from Nicholasville.

Very True. I make the Trip from NW Iowa every April for a few days...

If you have 3 days... it is worth it.

I fished with Old Guide last week. He works out of Irvin Cobb on Blood River. He is a treat to fish with. Showed us how to find structure, different ways to catch fish, and is just one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! Go to Kentuckylake.com. He is the moderator for the forums, and his guide service is listed there.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

Hey Lester From Nicholasville to green river lake wouldn't be that far.
DAVID JONES is an excellent guide from what I have read and been told.
I have never went with him but I have talked to him at Holmes Bend Boat Dock. He is a real nice guy and can catch crappie when a lot of people, especially me, cant. Just found his web page.
