    Default HB 898 Question

What transducer settings do you suggest? 83 or 200? 455 or 800? Will be fishing KY Lake and no deeper that 30 feet. How do you KY Lake locals have your HB's set up? Thanks for any help!!! Hope to see many of you on the water this weekend! PM me if anyone is staying at the Moors. Love to share fish stories over a cold one (or two) at the end of a day fishing!!!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

    Hey JT,

I think I have my beam set for a blended setting right now. Does the 898 give you that option? And I have my side view frequency set at the higher setting for the best resolution.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I have my SI set at 800 Hz and I use the 83Hz (wider beam) in water shallower than 20'. Makes it a little easier to find the brush. I'll jack her up to the narrow 200Hz beam in say 20' or so.

Thanks guys! OG - Hopefully I'll get to pick your brain a little when we fish Thursday. I'd be happy to show you the 898 when we get back to the Moors!
