He said Family, pappy if its 3 of them for 7 days each trip that would be $180.00, pretty darn close to $200.00.

Default The problem is at the other end

I don't care how many poles a guy wants to have hanging out of the boat. It's those sharp hooks at the other end that are the problem. It's just wrong to stick a live minnow and watch him squirm to his death. Where is PITA??? And while I'm at it, How about all of those trees being cut down to create cover. The insanity of it all. MAKE IT STOP!

I'm going back to my hugging tree......

The anger comes from our rights being taken away more and more everyday. I thought all fishing and hunting forums were on the right side of the internet not the far left.

Got to love "sporstmen" that don't understand conservation. Could you imagine what the Kentucky Lake fishery would be like if the government didn't regulate it? I don't want unnecessary regulation, but there's a time and place for everything. I don't think regulating rod # is remotely necessary, by the way.

I liked this place a lot better before the political nuts started running their mouths. Let this thread die, and lets talk fishing.

Yeah ... I got that part.
I was referring more to his statement "it's already $50" (I assumed he meant EACH license cost him $50)

I did not start this as a political thread, but as a discussion. It has turned more into a bashing of me and others.

I am a fanatic outdoorsman where I bowhunt, duck hunt, turkey hunt, and of course Crappie Hunt! The entire family is involved right down the wife duck hunting right along beside me, getting up at 3am and chasing ducks!

Let's all not judge others by what has been said, and allow all of us to get to know each other and out wit the elusive crappie on our favorite waters!

I didn't see a listing for NR yearly licenses in the Fishing/Boating Guide. I either overlooked it, or it's not listed. I was wondering why we didn't have a yearly NR license :p ... thanks for clearing that up !!

It's gone beyond the original question. And, yes, it is a touchy subject for some, & no big deal for others. Everyone's opinion counts, but let's not forget that we agree to disagree ... and try & keep it civil. Political sways are going to be present in most any discussion ... but, let's not let our political feelings overrun the overall idea that's presented.

For now ... the thread will remain open. Everyone just needs to remember to not jump to conclusions about the intent of the questions asked. State your case, pro or con, without malice ... and, above all, remember that this is a "discussion" board. We're not here to make laws, or advocate breaking laws ... we're here to learn, and to make friends, and further the sport & love of the sport of Crappie fishing
