I think you guys are giving TVA too much credit. I don't think they're smart enough to try and control the grass. In reality, if they would leave the water down longer, maybe the buck brush would come back and we could have it like it was in the 70's. Man, those where the days for catchin' crappie on the banks in the brush. But if they did that and found out it helped the fishing, they would change it again. They just go by the chart and the chart says that they are to keep the water at 354 until April 1st and thats exactly what they will do. They will drop the water a foot on March 31st if they have to to keep it at 354. Remeber, you are dealing with the government.

Yea, They want to control the floods but the state wants our money for fishing. Looks like they could help alittle. But I guess that would be the logical thing to do and I forgot we are talking about the government..
