I have a sneaky suspicion that they are manipulating the water now to kill the grass.

The pleasure boaters started raising 19 kinds of **** about 3 years ago and you saw what happened last year. Their eradication methods from the late 80's / early 90's (that they still deny) won't fly anymore.

Yep that's kinda what I was figure'n too. The grass is good for the lake. They need to leave it alone. Let the PB's got to the river! :D

This grass only occur on the upper (southern) end of the lake? I don't guess I have ever seen it while tooling around over there.

No. 3 years ago it had spread from one end to the other again but has really declined the last two years. The east side usually has a lot more than the west.
