Ended up with 10 today, probably caught 20 altogether. Best fish were shallow, 5-6 feet deep and blacks. If someone could let me know how the best way to post pictures on here I'd appreciate it

Just be sure & upload them to Photobucket at the Large 640x480 pixel size. This resizes them to the biggest size picture that's good for this message board.

If you use the attachment icons (paperclip or postcard) ... you'll most likely have to have a resize program loaded, because most camera's will load pics onto your computer in too large a format to fit these two methods. That's why I suggest using Photobucket (or other hosting site). Photobucket allows you to choose the size of the picture, BEFORE you upload it on there. You can also use the size option to make a Avatar size pic, to go along with your User ID name. Photobucket is free ... and has a 1GB space for your pics & videos.

ALWAYS use the IMG Code line !!! As far as this site is concerned, just forget that any of the other code links exist :p (some will have ads accompanying the picture, and some of those ads are not allowable on this site ) If you just use the IMG Code .... all you will have, along with your message, will be the picture(s) you want to show ... no ads, no junk

... any problems --- PM me & explain, and I'll try and help get you going.

    ... cp

Fished Barren Sat. They were biting GOOD.

Was catching them in 15 to 20" of water about 7' deep. I caught fish on about every piece of wood I fished. Caught 1 over 13"

I remember now why I don't fish on the weekends. Bass boys running wide open in the channels. I dont see what they get out of running wide open stop cast cast cast..wide open cast cast cast..

I had to leave early or might have limited out. Think I came home with somehwere between 10 and 15.

LAke is up a bunch since then. Hope to get to go again this weekend. Man I wish I could get there during the week.

    Good luck!

Went yesterday to Barren and about the same thing. Caught 10 keepers and probably 25 total. They were mostly in 7-10 ft of water and from 4-7 feet deep. Caught all my fish on minnows, although last week they were hitting on chartreuse jigs. I'll be back out Saturday and will try to post some pics eventually.

thinking about going this morning. I hate fishing on Saturday here but I guess it would be better than not going.

Going to get windy and high blue skies.

What to do what to do...?

I would be willing to bet there is a tournament or 3 going on this morning too.....

I'm going out this afternoon.. going to stay away from Narrows/water intake tower as the boat traffic will make it ridiculous. They should be up shallow, so we'll find a nice cove with some wood and try that. I'll let you know how we do.
