Default Got my new custom jig heads today!

Board member Paul Mullins from P&S Custom Tackle is the best, check him out for all you custom needs. Below are 1/16 oz #4 redhook painted weedless and standard jig heads. Thanks CP for the reference.

.. those weedguards are a Y shaped plastic. When introduced into the head, they leave a V shaped guard over the hook point. You'll see them referred to as V-guard &/or Y-guard jigheads

Paul Mullins is known on the site as "Grousefly". Some of his work can be seen on the Crappie Business Directory (under "jigs") ... Fishing Gear & Baits | Jigs | P & S CUSTOM TACKLE | Crappie.com Business Directory ... then click on the Images link (right hand side of page). Click on pictures to get a closer view.

The unpainted ballhead w/Y-guard & #2 hook is my all around favorite jighead. In fact, I just recently received my order of 100 of them, to replenish my supply. Normally I'd only get, maybe a dozen or so per year ... but, my two fishing buddies had to be supplied, too, on our fishing trips last year, and my stock was getting pretty thin :p so I decided to take advantage of Paul's discount to site members, and get a head start on the 2010 season.

... you were just excited :p

(I did correct your misprint of P&S, on this board & Main board post ... but, wasn't aware of the hook size discrepancy. No biggie, though ... as Paul can pretty well customize to suit )
