Its not that I have problems catchin em. I just don't think theyre below the dam in any numbers yet, certainly not where you can get to em from the bank. You know how the crowds can be when they are biting. No one is fishing, and those who are, arent catching squat, couple hybrids and thats it. No bait in there and water is cruddy color. Me and my gf caught these two limits down there last fall about rifle season. I think the bite is a couple weeks off. I use a UL shimano sedona and 6 lb fireline. U use 1/4, and 1/2 oz jigs w/ twister tails and sometimes minnows. Have caught em on spoons and silver buddys too.
