Took my 9 year old son out. Went to my first hole with no luck. Moved to my next hole. Found crappie in 15 feet of water near structure. Using minnows caught about 20-25 crappie 8-8.5 inches long. Caught 1 12 inches. Had a great time. The short fish looked good, nice and thick for small crappie. Next year at GRL should be a very good year. Right now it's tough finding keepers. Hope the bigger crappie turn on in the fall.
