Thread: They are still there if you look.

Went to Melvern this evening and fished for 3 hours. We brought home 18. Probably caught 40 but most were really small. Fishing brush around 16 to 18 feet with minnows.The little ones were swallowing the hook like normal so we gave up on crappie and started looking for white bass surfacing. Found a few schools but they would not stay up long enough to catch anything. Did see one fella staying on the surfacing white bass for probably close to 30 minutes right by the boat ramp when we were leaving. Really wanted to go join in on the fun but I am not one to intrude on someone else's space when fishing. Looked like he caught a boatload though!
