Thread: Eldorado Spring Crappie Camp will now be May 10th and 11th.

It's our fault for a last minute change but with most people canceling at the last minute we thought it best for safety reason due to winds and rains we were suppose to get starting at noon last Saturday. We will be there Friday through Sunday. I will put up a CDC banner Friday afternoon at cabin #7 when we can check in. Supper will be around 730 to 8 friday even. I'm fixing chicken and brouts so bring a side and come join us. Families are more than welcome and you don't have to be a CDC member to come out and fish or eat with us.

Gregor hope you and your wife are able to make it back for camp. If I had known you were going to be there I would have came out for awhile. Looks like lake are going to be high and muddy but will try and get a report out before camp weekend. Hope to see ya all at camp.

Fishing Cabin

The weather has been better this weekend than in the past several days. Hopefully we can catch a break this coming weekend.

Here is the list so far for attendance and what they are bring to this springs crappie camp.

Fishin Dave and wife- Breakfast for Saturday and Sunday. B&G, eggs, breakfast pastries, coffee and cups, Macaroni salad for Saturday Night fish fry.

I will be check eldorado tomorrow afternoon to make sure ramps are open. It shows 5 ft high as of now. Will let everyone know if camp is still on or not.

Lake is currently 5.5 feet above conservation pool and still rising with 10,000 cfs inflow. I just got back from looking at the ramps. The only functioning state park ramp is the Shady Creek Area 1 ramp. The other ramps (Shady Creek Marina, Bluestem #1, Bluestem #2, Boulder Bluff, Sailboat, Chelsea, and Jumping Bridge) have water above the tops of the ramps and up in to the parking lots on most.

Thanks craig. Doesn't look good with more rain tonight. Might turn into a cabin camping trip or fishing with waders.
