My boss told me I could knock off early today, so guess where I went. Caught these bad boys from the shore, using my favorite lure - 1/16 oz unpainted head with a Junebug Slabalicious lure. They were only about a foot off the bottom, and only bit if I was reeling really slow - which made staying away from snags, ummm, "quite the challenge". Lol It was a great afternoon though - best fishing I have had from the shore at Perry, so far anyway... 😎
