    Default HD 6 6

Set up under the bridge about 8pm. Fished till 930pm. Lots of crappie and WB. Stationary. 7 to 15 feet was best. Ran thru 4 doz minnows in an hour and a half. Hardly fish with more then one pole. Really hot bite tonight. Eyes were really slow on the shallow and deep flats before that.

Yes, thanks for the report. What bridge were you under (Tontzville)? I was down there as well, got on a few crappie myself.

Yeah, I was using a double jig set up, tube jigs. It was pretty hot for about an hour, then was a school of carp that appeared to be spawning came in and killed the fishing.

Set up on it again tonight with my little girl. Fished 7 to 10pm. Bite was on when we got there. 6 second bite. 6 to one ratio of shorts to keepers. Lot less WB tonight. Caught a couple short eyes. Lots of fish, hard to keep bait in the water. Straight up cycling. Take one off bait, set other pull, drop, remove waiting fish, repeat. Fish waiting. Bout as good as HD gets for me. Fast as I can get um in the boat. Good place for kids right now. Fish were 7 to 14 down. Stacked to the bottom, stationary. Their still running water up over the sidewalks. Next week. Back to the big fish.

They shut the flow off yesterday. Bridge bite has probably changed.
