I'm new to this site. Haven't fished much in the last few years. I live around the Goddard area. Looking any help!

Thanks, ragnar. I have been watching this site for a short time and I'm impressed with the information that's shared.
Week days are tough for me but weekends, I can manage on short notice.

I've been having good luck trolling break lines and flats adjacent to the breaks and spawning areas. The fish seem to be scattered and really hit and miss. Trolling is going to let you cover more water with more baits and find those scattered fish. Try any bladed jig head with the plastic body of your choice and tip with a minnow. 0.5mph is productive some days and up to 1.2 on others. Males have been coming in sporadically but the majority of the fish I have been catching at Perry and Clinton have been hanging out in the deeper water just kinda staging up. The weather sure isn't helping anything
