    Default Activities at Clinton today

The local radio controlled airplane club is hosting a float fly today 9-3 in the Clinton point bay. They will have it blocked off for boat traffic for safety.
I'll be there watching my brother fly his planes off the lake and hopefully land them without crashing into the water.
They will have a recover boat to pick up any plane fatalities.
I'll be parked at one of the entrances drowning minnows and blocking off the entrance to the cove.
Stop by and say hey if your out there today. Hard to miss my pontoon with the roof and the white Johnson motor.

I pulled up to that boat ramp around 7:30. Some older gentlemen came over and told me that I could launch there because they where going to fly planes. As a young gentlemen that I am and this other person was much older. I wanted to tell him to go fly a kite. It's a freaking public boat ramp and he had no right to tell me where to launch.

Funny! I've been flying R/C planes for about 33 years. Some of those club guys turn into plane nazis when they're told to enforce a rule! I haven't flown at Clinton. The Perry R/C club is on the back side of the dam by the outlet. They're a good bunch of guys.

you fly at Hillsdale at all? I just recently got my foot back in and a couple airplanes after about 13 years away from it. I have been trying to get out and fly when i can find a time between coaching baseball and softball, fishing, camping with kids and well all things one does when he and the wife are outnumbered with children.

The club that I belong to is in Desoto next to the Millcreek gun club. I haven't flown at hillsdale in a few years.
