    Default Big crappie


    We had a little weeknight bass tournament Thursday night the 2nd at Lone Star. Fishing for bass was tough but we had a monster crappie caught. Wasn't overly thick, which lead us to believe it may have been a very large male. He caught it on a jerkbait, 18" long and 2lbs 10ozs, I believe he released it after he showed it to everyone too.

    Nice big crappie, and my Illinois friend told me Kansas has small crappie.
