Hi all. My name is Rory, and I'm an addict, addicted to fishing and hunting. I've been on here in the past as ROR-EYE, but I forgot all of my credentials and figured I'd start new, since this time around, I'm giving it an honest go for fulfilling my crappie addiction.![]()
I'm fairly new to chasing crappies with a boat, but spent years fishing docks and bank-accessible brush and other cover. I've been lurking around here for quite some time and am looking to learn as much about crappie fishing from a boat as possible, so if you see me chime in on your threads, it's just me picking your brains.
Thanks!
Rory
Welcome back!

Here's my ride. 16'9 Alumacraft Fisherman 160 CS. I've yet to make any major modifications for crappies, but I'm thinking maybe a few rod holders are up first.
Welcome back what lakes you fish.
I've been know to fish a few state fishing lakes, including Chase County, Wilson County, Harvey County East, and McPherson County. I initially purchased my boat for flyfishing big water and became pretty familiar with Wislon Reservoir, but now that I'm itching for crappies, it's like I'm starting all over.
Welcome back! This is an awesome sight for info and experience. Good luck with your fishing!!!
Welcome. We call it OCD. Obsessive crappie disorder.
