Kanopolis 7-15
A rare Kanopolis report! Found a list of coordinates for brushpiles so decided to try dipping them for slabs. Problem was I couldn't find any of the first four I tried to the north of Loder's point so I pretty much gave up on that. My fish finder is ancient so had to use the GPS on my phone, which didn't seem very reliable. Went over to the fish attractor buoy by Loder's and anchored down. First drop netted me a 10" slab and thought "Sweet! Found some!" NOPE. That was the only hit and fish I had.
As dusk approached we saw the shad start churning in a cove so pulled in and went crazy on white bass and wiper for about half an hour. It was fun while it lasted!
