Hit it this morning at first light. Found suspended fish but couldn't get any takers. Found lots of shad an what I assume are white bass on a windswept point. Jigged them, trolled walleye runners through them and only caught on little catfish. Finished the day pitchin spinner baits and buzz baits into newly flooded weeds and couldn't even catch a black bass. Called it quits at 9 am. First time actually trying to fish Melvern and I am hoping I will figure this lake out.
