Agrd with Springhill! Last week at Clinton was great, I might just be done fishing the spawn, freezer is good and full! My best bait by far was a junebug colored TopSecret jig. Fished 2-8ft depending on what part of the lake I was fishing.

I had the pleasure of being on the lake with Nick this week. The smiles say it all. Thanks for posting.

Oh no Chatt, what did I miss???
Lucky, Hair Vetch and I hit Clinton again last night. Full report on the outdoorsman but the bite has slowed some. I think the spawn in winding down on a good part of the lake after 2 weeks of great weather. Thanks to Hairy Vetch's idea we went a little deeper and found a pod of them that we didn't know would be there. Ended up cleaning 31 and enjoying a wonderful, all thought a little windy evening. Black and chart dragged along the bottom produced the best.

Very Nice! Have tried dragging jigs on the bottom a little in my area this spring and usually produces but have had better luck suspending baits so far. Have started trying to use a drop shot technique also....
Nice job
