    Default New To KS Lakes

Hey guys. I keep an eye on both sides of Kansas city's boards (mo & ks) since I live in kc. I've never fished a KS lake and am thinking about doing so tomorrow. I've been told hills dale is a pretty good lake. I'll be fishing from land since I don't have a boat. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice where to try tomorrow? Or if there an open seat in a boat somewhere even lol

Welcome, I would say go fish the Dam or Marina rock at Clinton. Producing good limits for most bank fisherman. HD doesn't have the size structure this year. Still some good fish but not a lot of quality.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

If you are going Saturday I am going to Clinton with some friends. I have a pontoon and could probably fit another if you want. Just call 9136877058.

Dang it! I would love to and I really appreciate the offer, but I already have plans to fish with a friend. We're either going to go to Smithville or back there to Clinton. I'm pushing for Clinton I really liked it. We'll be fishing from the banks either place we go, he doesn't have a boat either lol. I imagine the fishing will pick up even better by the Dam tonight and moving forward now that the cold front has moved out. That's what I hear anyways. Again thank you for the offer and I'd take you up on it if I hadn't already told him I'd fish with him. Maybe we can some other time, that'd be great.
