Fished HD on 5-18. Caught about 25 in 3 hrs in 5-12 feet of water. All were too small to keep. Mostly used sliders, caught a few with minnows.

0n 5-22 I caught about 15 during mid-morning in shallow water by a creek channel. They shut off at about noon. I worked several banks around the lake and caught two more till about 5pm, then the bite was on again. We caught about 30 in shallow water, but only 2 were keepers all day. It was fun anyway.
We used beetle spins with several colors of sliders on sickle hooks. I think we did better with lighter color jigs and mono line. They didn't seem to like my braided line, so I switched to mono.
