    Default Coffey County 3/6

Buddy and I fished from 8am-5pm. Again we were mainly targeting bass but took a break from them once the outlet started to get crowded. Took us about an hour to get our 10 from trees in 8-10 feet of water. Bites were very light, only had a couple that did much more than make the bait feel a little lighter. Really had to weigh the jig but they did hold onto it a long time once they bit. No shorts and only 1 skinny one that was also in the shallowest water of the bunch. Small fish was 12.5", biggest was 13 3/4". There was a Game Warden checking livewells when we took off the lake, that was good to see.

Thanks for the report! It is nice to know the game wardens are out there checking folks. Hopefully keeps everyone a little more honest!
