Just curious what will be on the menu for lunch?

I may need a partner to fish this fun tournament, as the guy that was going to fish with me may have to work. I'l know for sure by Wednesday after noon. I will be furnishing my pontoon boat, minnows and can meet up with anyone interested at the registration site by 6:30 Saturday morning or at the marina at 6 AM. It takes me about 1/2 hour to get from the marina to boat ramp 3. If no one wants to get into the tourney with me I'll be out there anyway on my pontoon boat with a roof, so stop on buy and say hey.
Looks to be a perfect 70 degree day, but with 10-15 MPH South wind.
Just curious what will be on the menu for lunch?
And soooo, we have eight pre-entries (thanks folks!) and quite a few who have called in saying they'll show up with paperwork and $ in hand. Should be a good turnout.
Take off commences at 7 a.m. We should be there a bit before 6:30 to take "day of" entries. As it states in da rules, you will be patient... and when you don't pre-enter you may not be ready to roll at take off. Does anyone read those rules? Just sayin'.
Weigh-in is at 2:00 p.m. It's a usual Bait Hut tournament, so you will bring your card to someone by 2:00 p.m., and THEN you can sort fish or BS, etc, etc, while waiting to weigh your SEVEN fish. Then eat, then do a free raffle, and talk more fish in the event you haven't already had enough talk of fish.
Now... Ahem.... We've had a few folks worrywart about the wind. Might I remind you... #1 This is at Clinton. The wind will blow from the south. Clinton is a problem when the wind blows from the east or west. More important, #2 Helloooooo folks, we're in KANSAS.What do we not understand about wind?
And lastly, we're so darned excited to be having a decent day for a tourney, Bait Hut will throw in a $50 bill for second place big fish.
Come on... it'll be fun... Let's gooooo fishin'![]()

Top secret jigs produce another 1st place. Sorry Hut.....no minnows needed!!
Thanks for another great tourney!
Roll on, Top Secret. Since we sell yer jigs, there's no harm, no foul.We can make it either way.
Yes, first place was B.Manis and Foster, seven fish, 5.45# whoooootttWoooot!!
The rest will come tomorrow, because I've just kicked the last holdover from my house, and would truly like to eat supper and go to bed. Was thinking at dark-thirty this morning... the three F's.... Farmers, Fishers, and Fools. Those are the only ones out and about at dark-thirty. I would be in the end category.
A special shout-out to Captain Dan... whose partner of the day had to work, so he came out on his own. A long day for a guy in a pontoon boat with later winds in the day. Plus that damned hard walk from dock to weigh in, then back. Yer full of it, Captain Dan.... but do remind me of my dad. Good for you, to keep workin' at it.
I'm gonna go eat supper, and ya'll will just have to wait 'til tomorrow for the rest.
Places will come tomorrow

Thank Sharon and Don for your hard work putting on the Just For Fun day. The hot dogs where cooked to perfection. Sure we had to deal with the wind after around 11, but that is Kansas fishing.
Fishing has always been my passion since childhood so after surviving a stroke 9 years ago that caused a loss of my left side motor skills I have been using my love for fishing as therapy and a way to keep going enjoying life. If I luck onto the slabs it is just a bonus. The friends I have made out at Clinton are the real catches of a lifetime.
