I've caught some nice white bass through the 5" hole but a wiper could be a problem, for some reason i haven't caught any at Middlecreek and I know there's some nice ones in there....now I might have to wait til next year to have an answer for you .....looks like the ice fishing is over.

My answer would have been, then me and the hybrid will part ways. Both of us, happy campers, fish because it wasn't caught and eaten. And me, because I'm outdoors enjoying nature at it's very best. No big deal! Happy Icing guys! DK

Oh no it is not over, still out there if u'r willin to put some miles on to find it. Two days and 200 plus miles later found 4 t 7" ice with fish, there at Pamona, fished both North and South sides of Dragoon arm, no problem!

WTG DKV, I'm surprised you found ice that thick....but for me I think it's over unless you count the ice in the slips at Pomona docks...I'll go to LaCygne until some other lakes open up....Good luck on the ice and be extra cautious with this late ice.
