Default Almost ice free El Dorado

Had to get my fishing fix in since I wasn't able to make it down to Kaw tournament on Saturday.
Figured El Dorado was ice free but found it still has some ice in the key locations. Shady Creek marina boat ramp was open but ice blocked the path out to the main lake. My dad and I finally found a boat ramp on the Bluesteam point that was mostly ice free.
Got out there too late in the afternoon, as crappie were biting good in brushpiles 18-20ft deep right when we got there but then quickly died with only the occasional dink. Definitely an afternoon bite, ended up with 10 keepers and a lot of dinks.

Also thought I would throw in that the water yesterday was ice free from the boat ramp by walnut to the railroad bridge. You couldn't get up the walnut but you could of gone left out to the railroad bridge ice free. Saw this from the turnpike but hoping it could be helpful.

Did not check the boat ramp at the west end of the dam but Craig did mention that it was open on Friday.
Shady Creek docks were about half open, you could launch a boat, but not get out to open water.
