Thread: Hillsdale 5/26 Evening

Got to our favorite spot at 5:30P last night which is a brushpile in 16 FOW. Only fished minnows and best bite was 4'-5' deep. Fished for 2.5 hours and caught 18 but only three were keepers. Two of them were 13" females though and still had eggs - nice fish for us at HD. We would get 2-3 in spurts so I guess that means they are moving around a lot. Not a bad outing since we really didn't work too hard or them. Little breezy but well off main lake so not crazy. Got out-fished by the wife though - 11 to 7. Still ahead for the year though! (yes, she is keeping track - lol) Whatever keeps her coming with me is fine with me!
