well...I have a pic of it, but don't think we took one layin on a ruler....said I'd let ol' Doug post it if he wanted....but I still gotta announce I did catch a 14.5" at Clinton a few days ago.....as long as Chatt reads this, all I care about...

Well I guess I'd better post a pic. of Young Dougs slab, don't want the youngster to have a hissy fit I did measure it on a board but thought someone probably had a BIGGER one than this but I see 'ol Chattsters was only 14.25", sorry YD next time I'll make sure I take a pic. on the measuring board.....that is iffin it's mine. We had a decent day at Clinton fishing the trees, we ended up with 21 keepers.....3 @ 14ins. and several in the 13in. range.....no minnows, crappie thunders for me and some special red-headed hair-jig for YD was the best baits. Hope these fish are going to stick around the trees for the "SSS" pattern, I really enjoy this style of fishing.

Caught a 14 inch female off the dam at Cheney this past weekend on a pink roadrunner with a white/chart crappie thunder body.

I caught an identical one the next evening in the same spot on a minnow/bobber set at 5'.

Thought I'd add a monster to the books. I tried to close the mouth and get the tail together, but am still unsure if the bottom lobe of the tail touching the 11" line is good enough? He tasted good for lunch, regardless. 13 JUL 13
