That's what I'm getting at right there. Why does it have to be a law? As an ambassador to the sport wouldn't ethics be much more viable? Those on this board who promote and back personally a 20 fish limit, that's GREAT. Why wouldn't it be? As a steward to our lakes, we observe a synchronicity of our environment, which helps our decisions of limitations. Why does it have to change when we become travelers to another lake?
It has to become law unfortunately because the same ethics are not shared among the collective. I'm sure you have seen it, people who do not fish as much as you do often lack what you would call basic understanding of what you have just described.
" Why does it have to be a law?" Do you support uncontrollednonono harvest? <*)}}}><
For the same reason it is against the law to spot light and shoot deer. Of course it is only as good as the enforcement. Since I have not been checked in three years and I am on the water a lot it will not matter to some folks.
laws are just for the honest folk like you and me anyway.
My limit is 8 or 16. I can fit 16 fillets (Perry size) in a qt zip lock bag. No partial bags in my freezer .(usually)
That is more checks than I have had in my life, you might want to smile more or somethun.
Because there isnt anything in them. Just joking.
