Default LaCygne on a beautiful monday

Looking at the weather forcast for the rest of the week (high winds....oh yeah we do live in OZ!!) I deceided I'd better go for my one fishing day of the week and LaCygne was the choice. I fished the south end of the lake in the morning and kept 23 that ranged from 10.25 to 12in. I went up the river under the bridge and tried stumps and laydowns with nary a bite...lots of shad flippin so don't know what the deal is The colors of the trees up along the bluffs was spectacular..best I've seen in many years...I guess the drought was good for the fall color The best baits today was 2in. blue/white and chart./white wasshoppas on 1/16 & 1/8 jigheads....yep NO MINNOWS......maybe just maybe no more of em til next summer The lake is a little low but had no trouble launching or loading. to you all.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

Nice job Slabby Joe. I figured you and LBM have been tearing them up. I haven't been out in almost a month. We've had company every weekend. Might try to sneak out this weekend if I get the chance. Thanks for the report.

Hey Zeepo from the warm water discharge to the dam no problems but going north around the bluff there are a couple of stumps sticking up and I went slow up the river and didn't have any problems, go for it!
