Well, I said I'd leave a report even if it was ugly so here goes.

Got to the lake at 8:30ish and headed to the breaks, caught a few shorts and stumbled onto a new to me brushpile in 13ft, so I reeled up the crawlin rods and grabbed a jigging rod and tossed a marker. BANG BANG! 6 keepers in about 10 min with a couple shorts then it petered out. Mind racing. I thought of another pile that should be in same depth a bit away so pulled up the Tm ans set to head off, Oops forgot marker, went back and missed it 2 times with big motor so dropped TM and grabbed it, hopped back in the seat and hit the hammer, what the heck???? A TYPHOON came over the bow and soaked m dumb butt! Yeah, forgot to pull the TM up So' dripping wet and cold I tossed back the 6 keepers and headed to the ramp. While stepping of the courtesy dock I slipped on the metal plate on the way down the ramp and busted my %#^$! In short, what started out as a super day went to hell in a hurry. Good news is when I got home I didn't burn the burgers on the grill and the beer was cold Next trip will be better

Well my day was better than yours , suppose to be calm winds .not, I had a jacket on and flip flops froze my but off most of the day.Clouds and a north west wind . What made it colder was watching Fish hunter catch 3 fish to my one and big ol slabs at that. Started out on brush 1 keeper . More brush no luck started Strolling breaks Fish hunter kept pulling in fish I kept trying every color in my box he kept telling me to put on a bobby garland ,I thought I would find the hot color ,Wrong again, so I put on a B.G. and started helping him put 31 keepers in the boat , I know we could have limited but I had to leave to get ready for our annual fish fry. Felt bad makin him clean all the fish but not to bad sence he caught most of them.. all in all not a bad day the first day crappie fishin for me sence April . got to get my thump yank motion working again.

What a contrast of days you two had. WC's sounds a heck of a lot funner than fD's. Did your boss call and jinx you Dan?
