Joe, since you been tempting me so much, a buddy and I fished your lake yesterday. We started 1:30pmish and quit at sundown. All in all it was a decent day, we kept 15 crappie that the fillets filled a 1 gal baggie. They were 12"-14" fish and round, little fatties. Kinda of a similar story for us as well, find a loaded pile and pick up a handful of keepers and then some dinks, so we would move. We stumbled on 3 piles that were that way, sure seemed like the last hour and and half was pretty slow. So we went slingin' plastic for some wally's, nothing, just some smallies and a few whites. I snagged someones anchor rope and pulled up their anchor too. But, I got my fix, and boy did I need one cause today I have 8 third and fourth graders to teach some fishing too. Only a couple have ever fished, Wed night I taught them how to cast. A couple of them had me fearing for my eyes and teeth, but they'll do alright today. Tear 'em Up

That is great Doc! It is worth every second to teach the younger crowd how to fish. Unfortunately, not too many parents teach their kids things like this anymore. They are too busy on facebook and such I suppose......
