Thread: Melvern 9/8/12

Camped at Turkey point for the weekend and fished all afternoon Saturday. We hit some of the bigger piles in 18-20 feet of water. We caught a lot of smaller fish on those piles with a few keepers (12 inches or bigger). Headed to the smaller piles in open water in 20 feet of water and started catching the bigger ones. Everything was caught on minnows. Kept nothing less than 11 1/2 and the largest was 13 1/2. Cleaned 11 at the end of the day. Probably caught a total of 50-60 all day.
Beautiful day to be on the water with the family! The pleasure boaters were almost non-existent this weekend which was a wonderful change!!
