Thread: Pomona 8/4/12

Went to Pomona today and had a decent day as far as the fishing goes. Caught somewhere North of 60 and kept 16 for the fryer. A lot of 9-11 inchers but we kept nothing less than 12 today. Caught every one of them on minnows either in the trees or right down in the brush piles in 20-24 foot of water. Tried jigs several times and caught absolutely nothing while the minnows were getting bit almost every time before it would get to depth.

Sixteen 12" fish....very nice! Haven't chased slabs for a while...may have to get the long poles out next weekend. May even try Pomona...haven't fished it yet this year. Good job
