Today was a pretty good day. Fished 2 piles and only picked up one keeper. Hit one pile by arrowrock and just killed them probably caught 60 fish today but ended up with 15 keepers and 12 were nice big slabs and only 3 with eggs. Didn't matter what color I dropped down there as long as it had a crappie nibble on it they hit it.. I did pick up some of the bottom I'm guessing because when I got them in the boat they had some mud on them? Oh and I did have a nice crane fly over and drop a big deuce on the boat missed be by about a 12 inches.

Thanks for the report. We are heading out on Friday for 11 days of camping so I am hoping to find the crappie and walleye at some point during our vacation. We have not been out to Melvern for a couple weeks, we have been taking evening trips to Pomona so I am looking forward to some time at Melvern!
