    I am just curious if anyone fishes wolf creek/coffey county? I work at the plant but have only fished there once. Now that I ventured into my own boat and am getting more serious I might try it some. Doesnt seem like there is ever any articles on here where people fish it.

    The 2 biggest crappie I ever caught came out of there about 6 years ago. They were both over 16" and just over 3lbs each caught both of them the same day. With a lenght limit of 14" and you can only keep 2 per day really keeps the crappie fisherman away. Its a good lake if you are after trophy class fish or are a catch and release fisherman.

    They have changed the length limit to 12" and the creel limit to 5. We fish there for smallmouth frequently and usually do pretty well.
