A Great Post Indeed !! You're talking about what we all aspire to, and the satisfaction is genuine when you can help another. The truth is we all have knowledge and experience that can help each other, and we can always learn more from each other. Great to see the website encouraging this, and the crappie camp was I hope the first of many for me. I haven't fished crappie very seriously although I read a lot and work hard at learning whenever I get the chance. Hat's off to you, sir !

The lake I fish the most is Sabetha Pony Creek you can find out about it on KDWP site. The best dishing really occurs from mid Feb to mid April. Thats when most if the larger fish are caught from the bank with cork and jig 2' down in 6' of water. I really enjoy fishing there in the summer. Submerged rock piles points the meet the creek channel. Really any good structure in 8'-15' of water fished with verticle jig. You can run into some HUGE wipers too. A friend just recently shared a picture with me of 4 that were all 8lb+ I will try and get picture posted. I just recently got gps so going to try and put a spreadsheet together with all locations.
