Sure would like to find some of those Slabs at Hillsdale. Since this is my local reservoir. Caught one 16 inch one about 20 years ago. Only 16 inch crappie I have ever caught. My buddy was begging me to get it mounted. Im like, no, I will catch me a another one someday. Im still waiting on that day. I did have a good day Thursday afternoon up the creek. Not much on number but, I had 2 that wouldnt fit in the measurer and they overlapped the top of the bucket. I will call them 13 inch fish. I got some pictures as well but, have to wait on the wife to help me. Good fishing to ya.

Crappie commander I would seriously consider paying you to guide me to those plentifull 15 and 16 inchers from hillsdale. because I sure cant find them and on average I fish that lake 4 times a week spring through fall. I can usually luck into a 13 or two and sometimes a 14 but cant remember the last time I caught a 15.

You have to have armor on around here...

No offense, honestly, but I would have to see it myself to believe two 16's came out of HD. I know 5 or 6 of the best fisherman i know that consider HD their home lake and not one of them has pulled a 16 out in 5 years.

If you know it happened that's what matters!

WTG. Thanks for the picture. What really stood out for me was seeing the nine blacks in there amongst the fifteen crappie. I've caught blacks in Hillsdale (even a couple of short black nose crappie) but never that high a percentage as you did. Good job. It sure looks like I should be spending more time in the nether regions of Hillsdale.

Sorry I doubted you I dont know how long you been fishing hd but that is rare to come across fish like that. I would say anything over 14 is pretty rare. Nice fish thanks for the pic.

Nice looking fish... I would imagine that there will be plenty of people out at HD this weekend chasing the fish around
