    Default Clinton Lake 3/16

Well I wish I could report that there was a hot bite at Clinton but that was not the case for me this afternoon. Because the wind from the south was strong I looked for fish along the south side of the lake from the corp ramp west to the stone foundation area. I fished standing timber from 16 to 4 fow. I fished channel breaks and the only fish I could find came of of isolated brush in 14fow 10ft. Managed only 5 keeper fish that I later released. Water temps from 58-60 degrees and water lightly stained. So like I said in the beginning no hot bite to report but maybe my info will help someone know were to start.

Hey you got out and tried and with this wind it really limits where you can fish, the days can only get better
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

I went to Clinton also yesterday and casted jigs to the bank in 2-6 ft of water and we ended up with 7 nice crappie and 5 white bass and 1 nice black bass. Nothing fast and furious but steady. We found 71 degree water in the very backs of the coves. They wanted white curly jigs.
