    Default Newbie needs advice.

Been reading the forum awhile and wanted to say hello. I am looking for advice on crappie soft plastics, who makes and what colors are the best. Plus is there a manufacture that sells a kit that has most good colors included. I live in DeSoto and was at the golf course pond a few minutes ago and was catching crappie in 2 ft of water and they were hitting the jig hard. Glad to finally introduce myself to the group, love the posts.

Go on line to CrappiePro.com. They have great baits all of which can be ordered on line. Call Sammy at Rocky Top:660-438-7341. Both bait makers have the best solid body gigs made. Might as well start with the best. Sammy wll send you a line card with pictures and prices.

Cabelas has a kit on sale now, but out of stock due to the rock bottom price of $30 for 1,021 tubes and lead heads. I think the kit can be back ordered. You also can't go wrong with any of the Bobby Garland panfish products, but I don't know if they have kits.
