    Well, now guys, let's settle down a bit on the weather conditions. 'twas originally scheduled for April, and quite a few fisherguys we know had their input. ZebcoWizard with the help of others chose April 8th.

    Then when WaterWitchin' was supposed to start gettin' out the word, she said... Are ya SURE ya want to have a tourney on Easter Sunday??!!?? LOL... it went downhill from there. Just sayin'.

    Ya know... could be a 60 degree day. Could be -20 with an east wind. Who the heck knows what spring will provide? If nothing else, we'll go back to the store and eat whatever I've cooked up for the day.

    PS... The second tourney, QUWF, should be good. Again, unless MrsWeather doesn't choose to cooperate. Better chance, but who knows? At least there's a plan.

    Hey everyone,
    I thought about getting my feet wet with KS competition an attending one of these tournaments, although probably can’t find anyone in NE that would make the trip with me. I’m just curious if anyone needs a partner or wants to fish. I can bring a fully loaded Crestliner set up for tightlining etc. or just fish out of some else’s. If not I may come down anyway and hope to meet some of you fellow forum members.
    Kinda off the topic, but I plan to maybe fish some of the Lab/Chief Kansas Crappie Trail Tournaments so the same thing applies if anyone’s interested.

    Howdy, Passion4Crappies.... I guarantee ya, a Bait Hut tournament is fun, even if the wind's blowin' 40 mph and it's raining. Give Zebco Wizard a call at the Bait Hut in the next month or so, and I'm sure he'll try to hook ya up with a fishbuddy. And it never hurts to just come & fish.

    PS The spawn ain't on yet, but minnows and plastic seem to be flyin' out the door. Somebody must be doin' something. Or at least havin' a hellagood time trying. :D
