It was a GREAT day on Hillsdale with Doug. We found a few keepers in trees & rocks 12 to 18ft. Loved jigs tipped with crappie nibbs. Shallower fish wouldn't even touch a minner. I'll be headin out soon ta check on dem!!! <*)}}}><

I appreciate everyone who fished the tourney, donated fish, money, time, etc.. to make the tourney and dinner the success it was..the weather on the lake could not have been better......I had people from the congregation who listened to Chatt's seminar tell me how much they enjoyed it , and some of them don't even fish......all you guys who fished and then cleaned fish.....unreal.......the people from the church could not believe what a nice group of guys you all were....many of them stated that this was the greatest event that they have EVER been a part of.....and several of them came up to myself and Jana and expressed this with tears in their eyes...........Springhill Duckman/ Weekend Warrior took both honors with 10 fish weighing 8.5 lbs...and big fish going to Adam with 15oz .....these guys redonated their winnings back to the fundraiser....unreal..........Thanks to all...and I'll post some pics if I figure it out.....

What a great day..beautiful weather, good friendly competition ( I had no doubt who was gonna winHands Clapping , congrats to you guys) and the fishing was actually good for a change. Young Doug you did a mighty fine job putting this together Thumbs Up but I've come to the conclusion that the biggest reason it was a success is your very tolerant wife .... the week before you dump her in the lake and then hit the gas while she's reaching for something in the boat and knock her off her feet and onto the floor and then ask her to bring us donuts and coffee on tournament morning...man you better be counting your blessings:p
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

I had a very good time and yes it was a very well done event. I do think old Doug called it right about Jana being the real force behind this event and how it turned out so well. Yes Jana could have done so much better and its really amazing she continues putting up with this loose cannon. Rofl
