Watching all those videos of Nick, Adam and Eric just wearing their arms out pulling in all those crappie while spider rigging sure had me believing that I might actually know someone as a spider rigging legend of great wisdom and intellect. To my mind it sure looks like the great wisdom and intellect has certainly been placed into question by the above statement about someone that's lucky to get a catching pattern established in 8 hours on the water and someone that consistently sticks with a fishing style where a thump is the main indicator of fish on. Someone that starts out using the same baits as tied on from his last outing and reluctantly changes baits and colors while on the water and doesn't readily change tactics really doesn't have a snowballs chance in tournament situations and truly knows he doesn't have any business fishing in tournaments because actual work is required for that kind of fishing. But guess old Doug and I will be there for some laughs and eating.

Whoever is fishing with huntcapn should be warned that if young Doug does catch a real nice fish that he will hold it out of the water looking at it and admiring it until it is completely dried out and shriveled up. Rofl

The best bite is from 6 to 8 am, now I won't be able to even catch one fish.... Are you going to have the KU vs KSU game streaming on a TV at the Marina(11 am kick)? I may have to be off the water for a couple of hours to watch. Already giving up tickets for the game but I think it's going to be a good one!

Man, there is just to much going on this time of year. I have to brush 3 blinds and build two for duck season plus drive to Atchison to check out those for water. Football on Saturdays... gotta love this time of year but man, it's going way to fast...
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D
