Watching all those videos of Nick, Adam and Eric just wearing their arms out pulling in all those crappie while spider rigging sure had me believing that I might actually know someone as a spider rigging legend of great wisdom and intellect. To my mind it sure looks like the great wisdom and intellect has certainly been placed into question by the above statement about someone that's lucky to get a catching pattern established in 8 hours on the water and someone that consistently sticks with a fishing style where a thump is the main indicator of fish on. Someone that starts out using the same baits as tied on from his last outing and reluctantly changes baits and colors while on the water and doesn't readily change tactics really doesn't have a snowballs chance in tournament situations and truly knows he doesn't have any business fishing in tournaments because actual work is required for that kind of fishing. But guess old Doug and I will be there for some laughs and eating.Quote:
