Default 3 days of the 'Conda'

RoflRofl or Waconda!! Sunday arrived at 3pm. Picked up bait at Little Bait Shop. I had called Marty & she had me 2lbs waitin. Good thing as other bait shops were out or have decided not to carry bait. Brush piles & brush piles & piles were the pattern again. Active piles changed every day as well as depths. When ya found the 'right pile' ,,, it was FANTASTIC Hands ClappingHands ClappingHands Clapping. Just loved seeing lake patrol out Monday & Tuesday. Monday, as he was checking us & another boat near Swim Beach piles,,, we had a bunch. Close enough to hear the other boat say they only had 7 who only were using jigs. They said they couldn't find any bait to buy. Sunday, as we were looking for the 'right pile' we were over by the bluffs & found a party going on over the cove we wanted to fish. What luck!!! Had to leave & went over to Marina cove. Marked some piles & just as we were moving in,,, STRONG GUSTS (reported 60mph) wind outa the NNE. Minnkota up to 100 to stay just close even protected by the levy. Aint leaving as we found the right pile. Ended up cleaning 17 very nice crappies. Monday we are at the same piles early. Marilyn cooked us breakfast @ 6am as she was off & I'm not welcomed at where I used to eat. Very few bites. Headed to the swim beach piles & found the right ones again. Put fish in the ice filled cooler & had PLENTY Thumbs Up by noon. Went to Granite Creek area & pulled cranks for walleye. Caught several but onle 1 made the cooler. GREAT DAY!!!! Had diner at the 'Corner' & found out that 'news' travels fast in small towns. Got several 'attaboys' of how I handled the minner thing from last weekend. Tuesday, had to look again for the magic pile. Only wanted 20 & soon headed out with sum crawlers for eyes. After several small fish we quit at noon. Clients worn out from heat we headed home. I'll be back out there next Wednesday findin fish for the 'Crappie Camp'. Corner Bar will have another 'frog leg' fry Friday. Lookin forward to a GREAT time again. Gota catch a bunch as I have invited several locals to our fish fry Saturday evening. <*)}}}><

See, I told you Spring it's not 5 fish/ 21" length limit. I think you just wanted to work on your tan, we would have been done and crappie fishing. Everybody be good and have a great time at camp. I'm up and running might sneak up and help catch fish for the fry, don't know yet. As now I've got more vehicle maintenance, if so I'll be in a Ranger 519VS/225 Merc
