High water at the Glen
I can really plan fishing trips. :D:DThumbs Up Went down to Table Rock a month ago right after the lake topped out at ~20ft high. Camped out at Lyon SFL, and saw the tornado that hit Reading. Now this weekend headed to Glen Elder for several days of crappie and walleye fishing, and the lake is high and rising. Still plan on going up there, still will have a good time, can't back of my reservations.
Found this article on KDWP website: Glen Elder Youth Fishing Tournament Postponed / Fishing / KDWP - KDWP
Sounds like the main boatramps are closed, does anyone know any boat ramps that should be opened if the water stays at the current level. Any suggestions on where or what to fish for with the changing conditions (if we can get on the lake
). River channel for walleye??, brushpiles for crappie??, or dam outlet for white bass???.
If I can't get on the lake, might look at making day trips to Wilson Thumbs Up.
Tim.
