Hey to all the new people welcome, please join us an Melvern lake for the Crappie camp. We will be camping on west point loop at Eisenhower state park at Melvern Lake. I have reserved Algiers Cabin to use as the host sight. You can reserve a camping area or cabin online. We will serve biscuits and sausage gravy with coffee Sat. and SUN. morning and have a fish fry with beans and potato's Saturday night. All other meals will be on you. I was stationed at McConnell AFB for 11 years and I drive up to Andover to pick up my son every other weekend so naturally I like to know what the fish are doing up there. He's 6 and wants to fish every day he's with me, I can't complain.

McPherson area here. New to fishing. Tried targeting bass to start and had little luck. Turned to crappie, much better luck. Usual fishing hole is McPherson State Lake.

Olathe Here, Love them Crappies with emphasis put on the Winter bite. Hillsdale is what I consider my Home Lake.

Anyone fished for crappie in the last 2 week on Perry?
PERRY IS 11 FT HIGH
I fished the Leavenworth County Lake at Tonganoxie this last Friday with only one catfish but couldn't get him to the boat with 4 pound test line. I didn't get one crappie bite.
