Saturday... where to go?

[Slab a Ganza]

Looking like decent weather on Saturday. Already put my boat up for the winter, so trying to find a place to hook into something and willing to drive. Initial thoughts...

- Spillway @ Perry for White Bass
- Dock fishing at Perry (cousin has a slip there so I can get access) for Crappie
- hot water outlet at La Cygne for some White Bass
- W Bridge (from bank) or Dock fishing at Smithville for Crappie/White bass

Any recommendations?

I was at Perry Yacht and Marina a week ago. Very slow. And, I was told Rock Creek Marina is closed to fishing. Everyone at the Yacht dock were fishing deeper water, (20-30 ft). Jigs or minnows did not seem to make much difference. For jigs bring Slab Sauce, Crappie Nibbles or both. Hindsight, might have been useful to try some shallower water. Surface temps are in the low 50's
