    I have it mounted on the trolling motor. I have not had any problems with it wrapping around the shaft. The terrova has a slot in the shaft that you can run the cable through and silicone it in. You have to remove the head in order to do so. Takes about an hour. There's a video on YouTube by Doug Varhnberg that shows how to do it.

    I have a Terrova and like the fact that I have the option of remote or foot pedal. I do wish the spot lock did a better job of holding position, wind will blow you off spot and spot lock will eventually get you back to it. As was mentioned earlier tho, it's pretty handy for when you need to head to the back of the boat for whatever. I was fishing next to some friends last summer who had the i5 and I thought it was quieter than my Terrova.
