    Default Map Chip

I bought a couple of Elite 7's last summer and I'm looking to get some map chips for them. Was wanting a little input from my crappie buddies as to what there thoughts are as to what they like or recommend.

I have used several maps in my units and by far the best I have found is Jack Baker's maps. I have his KS-MO map card in my HDS and it is spot on for the most part. Contours are very close when lake is at normal level. His maps show a lot more detail than any other I have used.

If need maps of outside the KS / MO area , I would say :
    Lowrance Lake Insight™ PRO v14
For HDS Gen2 Touch, HDS Gen2, Mark HDI, Elite HDI, Mark and Elite
I have the Pro V12.. Works great.
Lowrance Lake Insight Pro v14 | Mapping Options - LOWRANCE | Marine Electronics

    Good Luck and have fun.

I just bought the hotspots chip for 2014 and it doesn't have the detailed maps for the lakes I fish like it does for the lakes further south. Insight pro v14 vs hot spots E114.

coincidence...talked to Jack today, real nice guy to work with. Ordered a chip for my hds gen 2. Anxious to try it. By the way, he did say with the gen 2 (maybe other units too) that you have the ability to look at topo maps of the lake as well on your depth finder.

My chip from Jack was way better than the insight and hotspots chips.
